SUTTON BOWLS CLUB NEEDS NEW MEMBERS FOR NEXT SEASON

SUTTON BOWLS CLUB

Sutton have a thriving bowls club within the grounds of the Memorial Hall. The club competes in the Woodbridge & District League Division 2 on Tuesday evenings. We also have a regular Thursday evening competition in the Fynn League, both being held during the months of May to August inclusive.

The club also hold very successful tournaments in eary May and a traditional end of season event at the end of September.

In addition, several of our members play in local tournaments and County Cups and have achieved notable successes over recent years.

The club is entirely run bu volunteers and in particular the green has benefited from tireless work put in by our Greenkeeper Roger Ray and Club Captain Mo Malster.

New members are always welcomed, and the club often host "roll up's" on Sundays for those who are new to the game or are wanting additional practice!

Whilst the club is reasonably competitive, it is always about enjoyment and the social side that's the most important aspect.
