Do you know Sutton? This is an event for all ages and will have something for everyone! Join us for Activities, a Treasure Hunt style Quiz, Fun, Facts and Faces plus a Children`s Art Competition. It is hoped the Martial Arts and Football Clubs will join us. There will be tables of interest on the various clubs etc in the village.

A simple Barbecue and Ice Cream will be available from 12 to 1.30pm. Tickets available from Sue at Redlands, Old Post Office Lane Sutton, Family ticket £12, individual ticket £4.

Children’s Art Competition, the categories will be Preschool, KS1, KS2 and High School. Using natural materials create either a miniature wildlife garden on a plate or an A4 picture of a bird or animal that might be seen in Sutton. Collect your materials from Sutton, try to use things like leaves, twigs, petals, pebbles etc. Entries to be given to either Joy at 3 The Walks Sutton or Sue at Redlands Old Post Office Lane by Friday 30 August. Prizes will be awarded on Saturday at 2.30pm before the raffle is drawn.

Wanted for Loan:  Unusual Tools for Quiz

Do you have an unusual object that may not be identified easily?  As part of the  event  on the 31st August we would like to include a quiz of unusual items.  It could be an item that is used for a lesser known hobby, or sport or a work item.  There would be a person to oversee the safety of items and ensure that they are not handled if that is important. Even a photo might be useful if the item is really large or precious.
